Used at Island Awning Shop that the donor established, which manufactured canvas products.
When the donor was not readily able to get the necessary hardware to connect pipes of awning frames, he would improvise by pounding the pipe ends and drilling holes into them to attach fittings. He also drilled holes into ceilings and walls when installing awnings.
