Centenary Ceremonies

The central ceremony of the Centenary of the Japanese Immigration to Peru was held on May 30, 1999 at La Unión Stadium. The ceremony was attended by Princess Sayako, daughter of the Emperor of Japan, the then President of the Republic Alberto Fujimori, distinguished Peruvian and foreign guests, and descendants of Japanese immigrants.
