Hb49 Rain wear

The City of Hiroshima

Rainy days are very common in Hawaii as shown by the saying, “You can forget your lunchbox but never forget your rain wear.” Rain wear was also an essential item for safety when working.
The trousers are designed much like a “hakama” (Japanese men’s skirt) with a drawstring at the top so they can rolled up and the posterior part is left open to make it easy to work.
