By 1930 cotton cultivation had extended and several of the haciendas where Japanese immigrants worked were engaged in its cultivation. The image taken in June of 1930 shows the storage of the cotton harvested in that season on Hacienda Tambo Real in Santa Valley, Ancash, north of Lima.
